Large takeout orders — 18% auto-gratuity
To ensure our team members are fairly compensated for the additional time, effort, and attention required to prepare large takeout orders, all takeout orders totaling $150 or more will include an automatic 18% gratuity.
This gratuity is applied to the employee responsible for organizing, preparing, packaging, and ensuring the order is complete and properly prepared for pickup.
Large takeout orders require significantly more time and attention than standard takeout orders. Employees may need to step away from other duties and, in some cases, away from the dining room floor to dedicate their time to assembling and checking these orders.
The 18% auto-gratuity recognizes the additional labor involved in:
- Preparing and organizing large quantities of food
- Packaging and labeling the order correctly
- Checking the order for accuracy and completeness
- Coordinating multiple items and special requests
- Dedicating additional time away from regular floor responsibilities
- Providing the same level of care and service expected from Kabob’s at the Option House
Customer notice
An 18% auto-gratuity will be automatically added to all takeout orders of $150 or more.
This gratuity is not an additional service charge for the restaurant. It is intended to compensate the team member who dedicates their time and effort to preparing your large takeout order.
